Our 2014 production of “Oliver!” brought you Dickensian Victorian London.
Oliver Twist is an orphan boy living a harsh life in the workhouse. When Oliver disrupts a meal by asking for more, he is sold to a local undertaker and his family.
Oliver escapes and runs off to London, where he is quickly befriended by the Artful Dodger.
Dodger takes him to his home, a “school” for young pick-pockets run by a kind, yet slightly sinister, old gentleman named Fagin. But that is just the start of the story…
With such wonderful well-loved songs as ‘Boy for Sale’, ‘Where is Love?’ ‘Consider Yourself’ and ‘Who will Buy’, it was a production not to be missed.
